Rainbow Tribe Introduction

We have now entered 2011, the Year of Light a time in which we will see many miracles and much light, in the form of positive societal change, shining across the globe and unprecedented displays of unity amongst people and nations.

We are on the eve of 2012 and the zenith of this period of rebirth for the earth, but just as the Sun does not rise instantaneously but gradually rises over the horizon so are we feeling the first bright glows of the new dawn. Just as the sun evaporates the dew so too will situations that seemed dire and dangerous be transformed in miraculous ways as we come into greater alignment with the light that is the source of power and beauty behind the universe. We are literally on the eve, and I don’t know about you but for me Christmas eve has always been more magical than the day itself, the sense of building excitement and anticipation, then the first ideas and realisation of the beauty that lies ahead, the joining together in joy and camaraderie. Well that is where we are now.

Many amazing things are happening already, for instance a group of 17 American billionaires led by Bill Gates and Warren Buffett have pledged to give at least half of their wealth before and after their death. What wisdom in understanding the impermanence of wealth and the everlasting bliss of giving and from echelons of society that in the last few centuries have all been about creating personal cabals and family dynasties. We are seeing nations and perhaps more correctly societies within nations grouping together to demand right action en masse, with human support beginning to affect governmental decisions. For example organizations like Avaaz.org (join up and add your voice) and the Nobel Peace Prize going to Liu Xiaobo the Chinese scholar who has challenged his own government and languishes in a Chinese jail as does most of his family. The secret government is being challenged by the open opinion of the people. People are realising the system depends on them more than they they do on it, so we had better agree to a system that works.

We now have the technology to power all our needs from the sun. If everyone put a few solar panels on their roof we would no longer need to burn fossil fuels for our every day power uses, greatly cutting down on carcinogens and carbon in our atmosphere, not to mention other power sources waiting in the wings to step forward and revolutionize our lives. Of course life is not without its challenges as those filled with fear and the resulting need to control rigidly stick to old ways and try and maintain the status quo. We are seeing national economies in Ireland and Greece for example collapsing and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) trying to bail them out. This will of course spread as people decide to dictate their own value and lifestyle rather than accept the dictates from a banker in a distant office. Yet this does not need to mean the collapse of society but instead the upgrade of society as we realize we are the wealth not the currency that labels the value. The answer is always in the question. Currency for example the dollar is not the true value but a temporary term of measurement, if that labeling goes the value does not need to go with it. And as borders break and people wriggle out of the shackles of the limiting bankers laws towards true governance the potential for border disputes and governments turning their guns on their own people increases yet expect miracles to happen. Peaceful coups and velvet revolutions. Many people spoke about South Africa falling apart and turning to civil war in the last days of Nelson Mandela’s incarceration yet the right wing leaders in an amazing twist of fate willingly passed on the reins of power --- situations forced common sense and revelations in once hard hearts. We will see more of this.

So how can we help, how can we be part of this movement for positive change? For the answer to this I will introduce to you a legend that we are now living of the Rainbow Tribe, a notion I first came in contact with and resonated deeply in my soul when I first visited the magical extra chakra of the world Aotearoa / New Zealand. Many tribes and peoples from around the world have spoken of the times we live in now when the Rainbow born across all the peoples and nations of the Earth will rise within their society. These are people who carry a wisdom and connection to Spirit above the level current in their society and an appreciation of the interconnectedness between all life and all peoples. People who will not follow blindly the dictates of governmental rules or societal norms. Many will travel the globe and connect with brothers and sisters from foreign lands and in coming together further ignite each other’s light and convictions, others will stay at home and in gentle loving ways guide and mould those around them to live more compassionately and gently on the earth. This is a gentle revolution a revolution within the heart and of the heart sculpting society in its form to make choices for the highest good of all life. And with one turn of the heart, one revolution the whole experience of the outer world can and is changed. Soon more and more people will realize they too are of the rainbow tribe and naturally without effort change the way they live, ingesting more life filled foods, choosing harmonious and non harmful ways to make a living and enjoy their free time; loving each other and caring for each other, loving the earth and caring for the earth. Society will be emotionally cleansed and things that seemed impossible or were not even conceived of when sitting in the lower emotions will now miraculously occur effortlessly. The chances are that if you are reading NOVA you too are of the Rainbow tribe and together as we transform ourselves we will transform society.

As a member of the rainbow tribe you look beyond appearance to the soul of people and the soul of things. Someone is not an African person, or a woman, or a milkman these are the clothes they wear, a member of the rainbow tribe looks beyond this to the soul expressing themselves within these garments and bringing light to the lineage or within their field of influence. Nor do members of the rainbow tribe have any enemies, they do not see people even doing harmful things as inherently bad but as people expressing a pain within the whole, within the one human being and through their actions subtly and obviously seek to transform the experience, praying for the person acting harmfully, seeking ways to prevent putting people in positions where harm can be caused. If we all move to solar power then there is much less chance of an oil spill. Banking in itself is not negative yet if decisions are made by the bottom line of the numbers rather than the human the finances are here to help. Rainbow Tribe members seek to create a positive alternative and live this by example above fault pointing and bringing down other systems but when required they will stand up and give voice to wrong doing and support those in peril. In NOVA during 2011 the Year of Light each month I will introduce ways in which we can contribute to this positive change so we can help maximize the spiritual wave of light blessing this planet and welcome more and more of our brothers and sisters into this the Rainbow Tribe.
