My pilgrimage to South Africa began with a little bit of knowledge, a whole lot of enthusiasm and a dream.
I became aware some years ago of the phenomenon of white animals being born all over the world. The prophecies of many Indigenous cultures proclaimed these sacred white animals to be a sign from the Gods, and the White Lion was recognised as having a role to play in healing humanity and Mother Earth. My interest was sparked, and in the back of my mind I stored the thought of one day seeking the wisdom of the great White Lion.
It was toward the end of 2009 that I experienced a vivid dream. In this dream, I was sitting in the African bush with a pride of White Lions, silently absorbing their wisdom. The dream then flowed into a desert scene, where I sat with a Bushman elder who tattooed a symbol on my arm, and the words 'Tsau' and 'destiny' played through my mind. I was clueless as to the meaning of the dream, but a series of synchronistic events soon led me to discover that Jeremy was taking a group to South Africa to see the White Lions of Timbavati. I learnt of the Global White Lion Protection Trust that referred to the lions and their land as Tsau! (the incantation for lion). Everything was coming together and I now knew that I was destined to visit the White Lions at this place known as Tsau!.
The only remaining piece of the dream puzzle was the tattooed symbol, but I didn't have long to wait for the answer. While on White Lion territory in South Africa, Linda Tucker explained that the symbol in my dream was a representation of the ankh, influenced by the divine feminine. This symbol was recognised as the key to unlocking the mysteries of the White Lion.
My time spent in South Africa with the White Lions was a life-altering experience. Life-altering' in the sense that I now have the confidence to follow my heart, knowing the truth of who and what I am. The messages that I received from the White Lions of Timbavati and Spirit of the Barberton lowlands, together with insights given to me by the beautiful people I met on this trip, have helped me to gain an intrinsic understanding of my true nature and purpose. I am now more connected to nature and spirit and am better able to see the direction that my spiritual path and business must flow in order to best serve the Great Mother and the Light. Watching the Star Lions walking free in the Timbavati and hearing their message of hope, has opened my heart and left an indelible paw print on my soul. I am forever linked to the spirit of the White Lion.
I urge my fellow human beings to open their hearts to the White Lions, to hear their wisdom and respond to their plight. White Lions are not protected in South Africa and are often casualties of hunting. Supporting Linda Tucker and the Global White Lion Protection Trust is vital to ensuring that the White Lions are once again able to walk the Timbavati, and in doing so, bring forth the plan of light.
